A Todd Kincannon update: Still crazy, but at least Ashely Kincannon finally noticed

Ashley and Todd KincannonUpdate on Todd Kincannon.  Not his alleged, “lucrative” law practice, covered earlier.  Updates to include Kincannon’s very scared wife,

<—–  Ashely Kincannon.

(Those new to the cesspool known as Kincannon’s mind can get a sense of it through a small collection of Kincannon’s massive Twitter rantings to the families of Santa Barbara shooting victims, Wendy Davis, and Ebola victims; here.  The good news?  As stated earlier, the whack job admits to being a whack job.

Todd Kincannon - I may be a sick duckFor a while this former head of South Carolina GOP didn’t lack for nut case friends.  Turns out, there is no shortage of nut cases willing to line up to agree with Kincannon’s misogynistic ravings against women.  (Also; well, – anyone not like him.)

Todd Kincannon - I have a big So while it’s been obvious to sane people the guy is a woman hating, racist loon, somehow this reality escaped his then finance, now wife, Ashely Kincannon, who,

<—-  didn’t mind.

Until she did.

But once Ashely finally got scared enough of her lunatic loved one, she called the police.

(So much for Ashely’s job title of “Domestic Goddess at Casa Kincannon” listed on Facebook.)

The police report stated:

“Ashley continued to tell me she called her mother for help and attempted to call 9-1-1 with an open line in order for the dispatcher to hear James. While driving, James saw a police vehicle and ‘freaked out.’ James threatened he would drive the car into a concrete barrier if the cops became involved. In addition, James also threatened to kill himself if Ashely left. Ashely continued to tell me James has made several threats in the past to kill himself, her, and her family. Furthermore, Ashely said she has past incidents of domestic violence and threats of homicide/suicide recorded. I saw no visible injuries to Ashely, she provided me with a written statement, and was issued a victim’s pamphlet. It should be noted Ashely was trembling as she wrote her statement.”

Kincannon freely admitted his behavior was crazy.  Then he blamed it all on being too smart for his own good, and not reading the label on a bottle of medication. Not acted upon?  Kincannon’s threat to kill Ashley, besides himself.  Naturally, Kincannon didn’t respond to those questions from New York based journalists….and South Carolina journalist didn’t bother.

Hope Ashley wasn’t expecting police, work.  Or male reporters to ask the hard questions.  Nope.  Not gonna happen.

Ashley Kincannon claimsTwo things are clear.  First, police inaction to protect women – while media shrugs.  This is typical.  In short:

Women having been paying taxes for police services the police refuse to provide for decades. Media?  Apathetic.

Second, a lackluster media as it relates to crimes against women expect when reporting after-the-fact, murders; is likewise standard.

This is especially troubling as that was the first reporting of Kincannon’s apparent ongoing threats to kill his wife, although Kincannon’s long history of hating women has always been, straight up,  crazy town obvious. Why the reporter quoted Kincannon about the victim, instead of speaking to the victim, was, well, creepy. (South Carolina husband killing wife, murder rates are tops in the nation.) The latest rumor is a possible kidnap charge. We will see. But how media covers crimes against women leaves a lot to be desired.

Ashely Kincannon should not look for religion to save her

Although Ashely posts videos on how to attract children to Jesus on Halloween through Front Porch Ministries, via the Kincannon’s church, The First Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina; she should not expect any church help as a crime victim.

The Baptist Church of Columbia doesn’t offer that.  It offers a Real Men Ministry – which apparently in their quest to get a closer relationship to God, the First Baptist Church doesn’t really cover repeatedly threatening to kill your wife.  This is a problem with Baptist ministries, and something Joyce Meyer Ministries learned after Joyce’s bodyguard Chris Coleman, killed his wife and two boys because Joyce Meyer Ministries doesn’t believe in divorce.  Chris Coleman knew if he got a divorce to marry his lover, he might lose his job.

So Coleman killed everyone.  His entire family.

Sherri Coleman and her boys

Sherri Coleman and her boys, Gary and Gavett – murdered by Chris Coleman, head of Security of Joyce Meyer Ministries

The Coleman case was sickening in that the police knew about threats to the family for six months prior but never bothered to investigate the source until three people were dead.

Only then did the Missouri police investigate.  Only then did they learn Chris Coleman sent the threats from from his work computer, as head of Security for the Joyce Meyer Ministries.

So good luck to Ashely should she desire to make future police reports, likely from a hospital bed – as the chilling part of the Coleman narrative, being, although Chris Coleman left a trail of clues, so large and easily found it’s a wonder the police didn’t trip over them when they learned of the threats months earlier. (This highlights the scant interest police have in crime prevention.  Post-crime services is their high.)

(Post conviction, Coleman’s parents  the Rev. Ronald and Connie Coleman left the courtroom without comment.  Their son, Brad Coleman, said that his “whole family is still grieving for the loss of Sheri, Garett and Gavin,” then added, “In our eyes, Chris is still innocent.”  Full on, Baptist style denial.)

And so it goes.  Good luck with the police, Ashely!

As far as protecting the public is concerned, unlike California, where Attorney General Kamela Harris filed suit against California nut case, attorney Matthew McLaughlin, do not look for the South Carolina State Bar to advance justice, professionalism and advancing an understanding of the law.  As the South Carolina State Bar has clearly indicated; they ain’t interested.

On July 14, 2014, Legal Insurrection, posted Todd Kincannon’s blustery Complaint against the South Carolina State Bar and others Kincannon deems nefarious.  The suit alleged First Amendment violations, and was filed in U.S. District Court.  Kincannon begged others to “defray” his legal costs.

Case Number:  3:14 – CV -02832-MGL

Filed: 07-14-14 – however no Summons was initially requested.  (Hint:  PR stunt.)

Eventually a Summons was issued, months later.  The Summons had to have been served by 12-19-14.

After no “Proof of Service” by Kincannon was received by the Court, the Court issued a “Motion to Show Cause” to Kincannon to address the matter.  Kincannon’s Response was due on January 9th, 2015.

After receiving zip, Judge Shiva Hodges issued a Report and Recommendation to dismiss the suit without prejudice (meaning Kincannon could at least attempt to get his very flimsy act together and try again) but if not; Judge Hodges recommendation to Dismiss goes to the presiding judge on January 30, 2015.  The court could then elect to rule on the matter then, or later.

Kincannon wants to blame his behavior on not reading the label on a bottle of medication [benzonatate]? For some facts, see http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0044825/#DDIC600233.side_effects_section

Keep up the good work, Bonnie. (I just ran across this stuff about Kincannon, and someone needs to keep publicizing his brazen and foolish misdeeds and his apparent hostility.)

I don’t get it, why so many ppl think this crazy individual is worth their time on Twitter. Maybe for the entertainment he provides in a sick way? I hope ppl have been enlightened, but unfortunately many will believe the “medicine made me do it” bs.

    • Well, it’s not just on Twitter, or Facebook….but Kincannon also files cases in real life 😂 – also:

      A. Kincannon was once the head of GOP
      B. Why the reporter thought quoting the Suspect about the Victim, but not speaking to the Victim herself, or questioning the police about their handling of the case, given Kincannon’s nut bird’s history in regard to women made sense, was at all appropriate – in any way at all; and,
      C. Given South Carolina has one of the highest husband-to wife murder rates in the Country, and I have high-lighted the police are more into post crimes services than crime prevention…
Is why the Kincannon meltdown is worth watching.
